Janet Ruth Heller Reads Her Poetry at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum on Sunday, February 22, 2015

Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.—Janet Ruth Heller will participate in Artifactory:  Poems about Kalamazoo and Kalamazoo History at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum.  This is a free event.  Kalamazoo-area writers will read poems about items in the Kalamazoo Valley Museum collections, the Kalamazoo area, and local history. Kalamazoo Valley Museum curator Tom Dietz will comment on the poems, give details about Kalamazoo history, and show slides of relevant artifacts.  Attendees will receive a free booklet of the poems.  Artifactory will take place in the Mary Jane Stryker Theater of the Kalamazoo Valley Museum at 230 N. Rose St. in Kalamazoo, Michigan 49003.  This event is co-sponsored by Friends of Poetry, and this reading is free and open to the public.

Janet Heller Reads from her poetry books Exodus and Folk Concert: Changing Times at the Kalamazoo Public Library on December 5, 2014

Friday, December 5, 2014--6 p.m. to 8 p.m.—Janet Heller will read from her poetry books Exodus and Folk Concert: Changing Times at the Kalamazoo Public Library as part of a Friends of Poetry event. She will also autograph all of her books.  Location: 315 S Rose St., Kalamazoo MI 49007.  This reading is part of Art Hop events in downtown Kalamazoo.
