Two Poems by Janet Accepted for Publication in Jewish Currents

The magazine Jewish Currents has accepted two of my poems. "A Day Off" was published in its Jewish New Year Supplement in September 2017.  The themes of this supplement are “Jewish Currents Goes to Heaven/Jewish Currents Goes to Hell." The other poem, "Eden," will appear in a future issue of Jewish Currents." I am pleased to have poems in this journal because the editor selects high quality literature for issues.

Janet is a poet, literary critic, college professor, essayist, playwright, and fiction writer. She is a past president of the Society for the Study of Midwestern Literature, and is currently president of the Michigan College English Association. She has a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago, and has published three books of poetry: Exodus (WordTech Communications, 2014), Folk Concert: Changing Times (Anaphora Literary Press, 2012), and Traffic Stop (Finishing Line Press, 2011).
