Elegy Forthcoming in Anthology

Editor Melissa F. Kaelin, who serves as Communication Manager at Michigan State University, has published my elegy poem "Honoring Dad" for her anthology entitled the Social Gap Experiment. TRAFFIC STOP, Poems by JANET RUTH HELLER

Traffic Stop cover from FLPTraffic Stop (Finishing Line Press, 2011) contains some of Heller’s best poems written from the 1970s to 2009. Themes include being an assertive nontraditional woman, having close relationships, teaching college English and women’s studies, loving nature, traveling, being involved in the anti-Vietnam War movement, mourning her father’s death, experiencing folk music at different stages of her life, and being an artist/entertainer/writer.
