My poem “The Ladies’ Library in Kalamazoo” is in the March 2018 issue of Encore magazine. Next to the poem is a photo of the Aurora Leigh stained glass window in the Ladies’ Library (built from 1878 to 1879). My poem focuses a lot on that window and the feminist epic poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning published in 1856 that the window celebrates. I am now the President of the Ladies’ Library Association.
