Fun Book Signing at Schuler Books in Grand Rapids on December 10, 2016

I had a great time at my book signing at Schuler Books in Grand Rapids.  Dawne Webber of the Michigan chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators organized this event. I enjoyed meeting the other two authors who shared this signing with me, PJ Lyons and Erica M. Chapman.  Erica has a brand-new young adult novel, and PJ writes books based on Bible stories for young children.  I think that we three made a good team, and all of us sold books.

I was signing copies of my fiction picture book about bullying, How the Moon Regained Her Shape, my adult poetry book Folk Concert: Changing Times, and The Passover Surprise, a middle-grade fiction chapter book for children.

One of the most exciting moments was when famous Grand Rapids area novelist for children and Calvin College professor Gary D. Schmidt came by and purchased books from all three of us writers!!!

Best wishes for the holiday season and for 2017!
Sincerely,
Janet
