The conference theme is “The Lives of Cities.”  Janet will read her autobiographical essay “Growing Up on the Other Side of Lake Michigan\,” which combines poetry and prose\, on November 13 from 2:15 to 3:45 p.m.  She will also discuss “Capturing Adolescence in Detroit:  The Poems of Jim Daniels” from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday\, November 14.
