Janet Heller Speaks at the Convention of the Midwest Modern Language Association in Dearborn MI on November 13-14, 2014

Thursday November 13 and Friday November 14, 2014—Janet Heller will be speaking at the convention of the Midwest Modern Language Association at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Detroit-Dearborn. The conference theme is “The Lives of Cities.”  Janet will read her autobiographical essay “Growing Up on the Other Side of Lake Michigan,” which combines poetry and prose, on November 13 from 2:15 to 3:45 p.m.  She will also discuss “Capturing Adolescence in Detroit:  The Poems of Jim Daniels” from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, November 14.
