My tanka poem “Cottonwood Seeds” recently appeared in Ribbons 19.2 (Spring/Summer 2023) on page 42. The Tanka Society of America publishes Ribbons, and the editor is Susan Weaver. Tanka resemble haiku, but tanka are five lines long, so this format gives writers more space to develop ideas. I recently revised this poem. #tanka #lyricpoetry #shortpoems #revision
