Janet Ruth Heller spoke at the SORMAG Online Book Festival on December 1 through December 3, 2023. On December 1, she participated in a panel discussion of authors of books for children. The topic was "Ask Us Anything about Children's/Middle-Grade/Young Adults Books." Janet Ruth Heller will join other Michigan authors and illustrators of books for children at the Funky Ferndale Art Fair on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Troy Street at Booth 318. This is west of Woodward in Ferndale, Michigan. Admission is free. The fair continues on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24, 2023. Janet will sign copies of her award-winning picture book story about bullying How the Moon Regained Her Shape (Arbordale, 2006; 7th edition 2022) and her middle-grade chapter book about sibling rivalry The Passover Surprise (Fictive Press, 2015 and 2016).
