Janet Ruth Heller will join other Michigan authors and illustrators of books for children at the Funky Ferndale Art Fair on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Troy Street at Booth 318. This is west of Woodward in Ferndale, Michigan. Admission is free. The fair continues on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24, 2023. Janet will sign copies of her award-winning picture book story about bullying How the Moon Regained Her Shape (Arbordale, 2006; 7th edition 2022) and her middle-grade chapter book about sibling rivalry The Passover Surprise (Fictive Press, 2015 and 2016). Janet Ruth Heller will autograph and sell her books during Readers’ Roundup Literacy Day on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Michigan State Fair in the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan. The address is 46100 Grand River, Novi MI 48374. Heller will read from her award-winning picture book about bullying How the Moon Regained Her Shape (Arbordale, 2006; 6th edition 2018). Her other books include the poetry books Exodus (WordTech Editions, 2014), Folk Concert: Changing Times (Anaphora Literary Press, 2012) and Traffic Stop (Finishing Line Press, 2011), and the middle-grade chapter book for kids The Passover Surprise (Fictive Press, 2015, 2016).
