On Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Kazoo Books is hosting a reception for the Oakwood Neighborhood Association’s annual Oakwood Neighborhood Reunion. Local writers attending this reunion and autographing their books for children and adults include Jaimy Gordon, Janet Heller, Kate Seifert, Laura Becklar, Jacquelyn Vincenta, and historian Keith Howard. Two Poems by Janet Accepted for Publication in Jewish Currents

The magazine Jewish Currents has accepted two of my poems. "A Day Off" was published in its Jewish New Year Supplement in September 2017. The themes of this supplement are “Jewish Currents Goes to Heaven/Jewish Currents Goes to Hell." The other poem, "Eden," will appear in a future issue of Jewish Currents." I am pleased to have poems in this journal because the editor selects high quality literature for issues.
